Constructed to Last

Corner Blocked for Strength

Cabinet corners are braced with blocks that are screwed and glued in place to add rigidity and prevent racking.

Table Support Blocks

Underneath our table tops are a network of support blocks securing the apron and adding strength to the solid wood top.

Corner Bracing

All Chair frames employ corner blocks which are glued and screwed into finger jointed side panels for long lasting strength and safety.

Corner Leg Bracing

Table legs are secured to the table with a proven corner blocking assembly using double bolts.  Legs can be removed to facilitate moving.

Mortise and Tenon Joints

A centuries old method of joining two pieces of wood, the mortise and tenon construction technique ensures the structural stability

Dovetail Drawer Construction

An English dovetail joint connects the drawer front and back to the drawer side.  It remains tight and snug after thousands of pulls.

Fitted Backs

A flush wooden back panel is framed by the top, sides and bottom to provide an added structural strength to eliminate racking.

Wood Drawer Guides

Chosen for years of quiet, smooth service, a wood on wood treated center drawer guide system is used on each drawer

Full Table Aprons

All table tops are mounted to solid wood panels below for strength and decoration.  The "aprons" use thick wood stock to add rigidity to the table.

Rail and Bed Slats

All beds are shipped with heavy, solid wood bed rails which are finished to match the bedroom suite.  Solid hardwood bed slats are included with each bed.
